Finding Ambassadors for brands has been widely popular since social media started. All you have to do is send an application that points towards your social media profiles. If you get accepted you can get up to 30% of their product. They also need you to post your code to get your followers.
Most companies look for those who have a decent amount of followers. Usually over 10K so they can get the word out for a low cost. Companies such as You Stella and Sincere Sally go for people that have low followers. These companies will comment on pictures trying to get you to be an ambassador.
These companies have been seen to be scam by giving attention to those that are in need. In today’s world, many are aspiring to be insta famous or an influencer. These companies are chasing after those with that dream. Saying things such as “Hey__, you are so glam. We should collab. DM us.” and “hey hun, we absolutely love your look! Send us a message, we have an offer for us. Xx” Trying to reel in with sweet words.
These companies try to scam you into buying clothes at a marked up cost and make you think that you are getting a discount. There are around 85 scam companies reaching out to those on Instagram.
Many know the world famous reality TV show The Bachelor. different countries have their own versions of it. In the US the Bachelor franchise is one of the highest known reality TV show. When you go on it hundreds of thousands of people now know who you are and see how you live your life. Many will also start to look to you for your opinions on things. And now you have a following.
This is when brands start to come to you. The more followers the more brand opportunity you will get. Hannah Goodwin who was on Colton’s season of the bachelor has those opportunity’s. On Instagram she has around 1.6 million followers. She collbas with brands like Diff, Saaya Rose, and Good American. All she has to do is post one picture on Instagram and all her followers see it. This is better advertising for the company than putting it in a magazine.

Being an influencer like Hannah gives her opportunities to work with many brands rather than being stuck with one. Each day she gets new opportunity’s and is growing her own personal brand as she is growing others. If she keeps this up she can have her own brand and be having infuencers represent her.
Tik Tok was an app that I swore I would never download. That all changed with the Quarantine situation. Here I am now having Tik Tok take up around 3 hours of my day. More and more people each day are joining and a big part is celebrities.
PEople have more hours in the day than they know what to do with, so why not make Tik Toks. These times are hard especially for celebrities who are in the music industry. Kelsea Ballerini had her album drop on March 20th. She has big plans involving concerts and meet and greets with this album drop. Her plans had to change due to COVID-19. To promote her album she has been sneaking her songs into her Tik Toks. https://www.tiktok.com/@kelseaballerini/video/6807888124321074438?u_code=db3jbkcb90hg8a&preview_pb=0&language=en×tamp=1586135930&user_id=6797200528356525062&utm_campaign=client_share&app=musically&utm_medium=ios&user_id=6797200528356525062&tt_from=copy&utm_source=copy&source=h5_m

Kelsea’s newest album cover that came out on March 20th. 2020

Her track-list for her newest album
Kelsea is not the only music artist that has done this. AJR is another music group who promotes their music on Tik Tok. After they put their sounds out there others can use their music for their videos. Tik Tok is making it free advertisement for these bands.
Tik Tok is all about the audience. They organize it by what you like, send , and watch. The more you watch of a certain content the more you will see of that. When users use the artist sounds they will be seeing more from that artist. I believe that more artist should go onto Tik Tok because they are gaining publicity by not doing all that much.
On Tuesday morning around 2:25 a fire was reported in Becker, MN at a Metal Recycling Plant. The fire is sill burning 56 hours later. The fire department now has it under control and say there is nothing to worry about.

Smoke from the fire in Becker, MN
People of Becker seem to think differently. Many are taking their complaints to social media about the recent change in air quality. Some of these complaints have seemed as if the people only cared about themselves and not the many people fighting the fires.
One person brought to Facebook her thoughts on the fire. She stated that it takes “nerve” for people to be so selfish when people are risking their lives and making those people look bad on social media. The picture she posted was of a firefighter standing in cold water while fighting the fires.

After this post many have been bringing their thanks to social media rather than complaining. At first, most people saw the fire an automatically thought of themselves. Now people are seeing the good and the hard work first responders are doing to try and control this the best they can. All because one person finally spoke up on social media. Majority of people will go along with others say, So be the voice that stands out and gets others thinking.
As I am sitting here on my couch watching the bachelor I can only think 1 thing…. Are the girls that drag each other down this mean in real life? It is known to anyone who watches the show that the more drama you cause the more airtime you get. I kind of feel bad for peter this season because it seems that the girls are there more to get airtime and cause drama than they are to actually fall in love.
This particular episode Tammy and Mykenna had a two on one date and were arguing back and forth. Mykenna took the high road while tammy did not. Tammy threw Mykenna under the bus to Peter while Mykenna told her truth.

This episode is the reason I came to my question. Who would I be? I like to think that I would be like Mykenna and take the highroad or be like Kelley and stay out of the drama. Honestly, there is no way to know. Was tammy like me and thinking that she would stay above a=it all and fell into the trap of the hsow.
After the episode, The whole world looks at Tammy as a “pycho” and a “bitch” and she probably was not going for that. Season after season you see these girl act like this, but wouldn’t you think they would learn. In a way you think they want to be like this so they get more known, but its also ruining their image. I have a question for you guys. Would you be like me and hopefully take the high road, BE the villain of the season, or Stay out of it all and just have your eye on the prize?
All of my social media at the moment is full of Kobe Bryant’s face. The reason for this is because he, his daughter Gianna, and 7 others passed away in a tragic helicopter accident on Sunday. Kobe was a role model for many with his skills in basketball but also because of the dad he was. The Hashtag #Girldad is trending right now because of a tribute that host Ellen Duncan did. In this post, she goes over time that she met him and how he explained how much he loves being a girl dad. Kobe left at home 3 more daughters and his high school sweetheart Vanessa.

TMZ is a tabloid that gets the latest news on all celebrities’. They live up to that because on Sunday they had found about this accident before authorities even got a chance to tell Vanessa and the rest of the Bryant family. I could not imagine getting the news that you had lost not only your husband but also your child, but instead having to read about it on social media. My heart has been hurting since Sunday knowing that families are grieving the loss of amazing people.
Dying is something that is inevitable and it is scary to think about, but another inevitable thing is the grief that comes with death. At my age, I have not had to deal with much death, but I have had my experience. Grieving is something you need to go through and it is one of the hardest processes I have experienced, and I was not in the spotlight like the Bryant family
There was a tweet from a tabloid that said: “Vanessa can not finish a sentence without crying”. This woman is going through hell at the moment, of course, she will be crying. The fact that it is going through social media gets on my nerves. This is just the beginning of the processes and she is already getting judged.
Vanessa took to Instagram yesterday with her gratitude for all the condolences that she has gotten. In my opinion, I feel as if she was pressured into posting something. She had asked for privacy which she needs, but I truly wonder who will break that rule… my guess is TMZ. ”I’m not sure what our lives hold beyond today, and it’s impossible to imagine life without them,” Vanessa Bryant wrote

My wish is that no one has to face the toll that death exerts and the pain that possesses you, but as I said earlier it is inevitable. I hope the people give the Bryant family the respect and privacy they deserve during this awful time in their life. My heart and condolences are with Venessa and the girls as they learn how to go through life without their number one man.
When social media was first becoming I became addicted right away. Coming home from school and checking myspace and Facebook I was always on top of what was happening. I got a phone a could years later and that is when my addcition truly strated.
The latest IOS update for apple tracks your screen time from week to week and lets you know how much time was spent on each app. My weekly total is 14h 3 min on social media. looking at this each week makes me question my addiction to social media. That is when I started to look at addiction with social media.
I found out that social media addiction is written in the DSM-5, meaning this is not just a made up thing. After doing research I found an interesting article “The Social Media Disorder” found at https://www-sciencedirect-com.trmproxy.mnpals.net/science/article/pii/S0747563216302059 . Reading this I now that I personally do not have a problem with social media but it amazes my that a phone can be more than just an addiction but cause other problems.
HAving a social media addiction could mean deeper issues such as low self esteem and depression. A big thing that causes this is the FOMO people are facing from social media. They wish they were someplace they are not or doing something else. It also cause people to be more fake in order for people to like that online personality. causeing them to forget their true sence of self, therefore leading to low slef esteem and depression .
Knowing these things I am going to try and lower my social media time each week and focus on the things in front of me. I hope more people are realizing how bad too much social media can be on a person and how to realize when they have had too much.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
